There are many ways to feed a species appropriate (raw or homemade) diet to pets. It's the very first step in maintaining a healthy lifestyle but it doesn't have to be messy, difficult or expensive.
At IAS, we have spent years researching the best and most cost effective supplements that add to the health of your pet. Pets love our self-serve microbubble bath!
Raw food chubs in 2# or 5#. Beef, Chicken, Venison, Quail, Duck, Turkey, Salmon, Trout, Rabbit, Tripe, Bison and more!. We have homemade bone broth, local organs, raw milks, duck eggs and a variety of treats.
Information is the key to feeling impowered to help your pet thrive! Schedule a consultation with us so we can take the fear out of getting your dog or cat started on a healthier diet today!
Cats do not need veggies but dogs do! In the wild, a canis (wild dog) would eat the stomach contents of its prey. This is loaded with veggies and digestive enzymes and is considered essential. Dogs cannot break down raw vegetable matter. We have ground and dehydrated veggies for you to choose from.
Absolutely not. Unless you are speaking to a vet that has a degree in nutrition, chances are you are being misinformed. In veterinary school, students are not required to take a nutrition course and if they are taught anything about diet, it is to feed processed food and this course is taught by the pet food industry. Pets do best on a species appropriate diet.
Cost vary by the size of the dog, activity level, metabolism and protein source. At IAS, we keep cost low by buying in bulk and passing the savings on to you. The cost to feed a 50# dog on average can be lower than $3.50 per day. This is higher than some of your big box store foods, but savings will show in the health of the pet.
Dogs and cats will not acquire a "taste for blood" by eating raw. This is a myth. Raw meat is the most natural and healthy thing you can feed your pet.
Absolutely yes! At IAS, we have both DIY ready proteins for base mixing, dehydrated and frozen veggies and whole organs. You can be in complete control of your dogs meals or you can use one of our complete and balanced formulas such as BRB Complete or Small Batch Balanced. The choice is yours! We can help you decide based on your pets needs and the time you have to prepare the meal.
