Fiber is an important part of a pets diet. Fiber can come in several forms from fruits and vegetables, to fur and toppers. IAS carries a wide range of freeze dried products, hair-on treats and toppers and frozen options.

The answer is no. A "study" published in 2018 suggested that grain free or legume diets were to blame in this and conventional veterinarians ran with the idea. Absolutely not. Unless you are speaking to a vet that has a degree in nutrition, chances are you are being misinformed. In veterinary school, students are not required to take a nutrition course and if they are taught anything about diet, it is to feed processed food and this course is taught by the pet food industry. Pets do best on a species appropriate, fresh food diet.
Cost vary by the size of the dog, activity level, metabolism and protein source. At IAS, we keep cost low by buying in bulk and passing the savings on to you. The cost to feed a 50# dog on average can be lower than $3.50 per day. This is higher than some of your big box store foods, but savings will show in the health of the pet.
Dogs and cats will not acquire a "taste for blood" by eating raw. This is a myth. Raw meat is the most natural and healthy thing you can feed your pet.
